• Another active, medium-large dog preferred but not essential in a home where her humans are around for company much of the time
• A home with a large yard and secure husky-proof fencing She is still learning how to be a dog.
• A home who can provide a commitment to ongoing structured training and socialisation to help Evonne Goolagong be the best dog she can be
• All humans 12+ yrs
• No cats or pocket pets please

Evonne Goolagong, the cuddly and loving Husky X, is looking for home to be spoilt by a family who has nothing but love and attention to give. Her new family will have someone around the home with her every day but not with small children. Anyone who walks through your door will be greeted with excitement and energy in the form of jumps to have your undivided attention. For that reason, Evonne is still working on her manners and will need someone to help her learn how to be on her best behaviour at all times. Currently Evonne loves leisurely walks and sniffs around the neighbourhood on leash and then will be ready for another nap. Nevertheless, she will need to be with an active family who will continue her fitness and weight loss journey. Evonne loves playing with her foster resident dog and would be well suited with another medium-large, active resident dog.

Miscellaneous Evonne Goolagong Skills and traits:

Cuddly, loving, protective and adoring. Wants to please and be loved in return. Needs her humans in her sights at all times. Lots of love to give.
Toilet trained with a doggy door.
Brilliant on a leash.
Great meeting other dogs when in a controlled environment. Can get protective when approached with speed or energy.
Big jumper when excited (coming home or waking up in the morning) and when nervous (new environments).
Not food motivated. Attention motivated. Needs reassurance to finish eating her meals.
Quick learner but could be attributed to copying resident dog. Decent recall ability too.
Medium activity levels. Currently only needs a 20 minute walk to be tired however is still working on her fitness and weight loss journey.
