About Aragorn
Handsome boy Aragorn
"My name is Aragorn. I am an affectionate boy who likes being close to my special people.
I love getting pats, giving love and my family say I am very affectionate.
Until recently, I was living with my cat community on a large property. Unfortunately, we can't all stay there any longer and we are all now looking for our wonderful new places to call home. Before I came to my foster home, I was not handled a lot but I have learnt quickly that people are pretty friendly and I now enjoy sharing my time with them.
Considering I am used to a quiet life, I can sometimes spook easily; especially in an unfamiliar environment, sudden loud noises etc so you’ll need to be patient with me while I settle in.
I would be much more relaxed in a home with older children. Young children can be a bit noisy and may want to carry me around which is something I am not a fan of. Although I wont bite or scratch, I prefer to have all 4 feet on the ground.
I enjoy the company of other friendly cats, especially playful ones, and I’m okay with calm dogs too. Living with other cats is the life I know and love and everyone who knows me, knows I will not be happy in a home without another cat. I thrive on their company and will not cope well on my own. I have been told that I will only be considered to a home who already have a friendly, desexed kitty who will be happy to share his or home with me.
I have adjusted well to my new indoor lifestyle. I use the litter tray like a good boy, and keep myself well groomed. I will have a much safer life living indoors or a home with an secure outdoor enclosure. This will keep me safe from other cats, dogs, foxes and cars. Plus I have a super handsome face, so I should be kept indoors to protect me from cat-nappers!"
If you think you have a loving home that I can share with you, please send an enquiry and someone will reply shortly.
With thanks
Aragorn
With the current lockdown restrictions in metropolitan Melbourne, we will be seeking a home for Aragorn in rural Victoria so we are not allowing travel in and out of the metro area
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
