About Dixie
***DUE TO CURRENT COVID LOCKDOWN RESTRICTIONS , WE CAN ONLY PROCEED WITH LOCAL ADOPTIONS ***
Hey guys I’m Dixie and my friends at Helping Hearts Animal Rescue busted me out of the pound and gave me a fresh new start. My foster family are so confused as to how I ended up there as they keep telling me I’m perfect in every way. Because I was found in the pound nobody is really sure what breed I am but it doesn’t really matter because I have so much love to give
I am showing early signs of hip dysplasia but currently don’t need medical intervention and as long as I’m allowed gentle exercise and my weight is controlled I am fine for now. I can still run, walk and play but I just need to ensure I don’t overdo things.
Nothing much bothers me, I currently live with 2 young children who I adore and I’m also living with an adult kelpie who has become my very best mate, but my absolute favourite was when my foster mum gave me 2 puppies to take under my wing. I’m teaching them how to be well adjusted and love to nurture them where I can. I have also had exposure to cats and I loved them too
I have now had my lady op and can’t wait to find a very special family to love for the rest of my life so if you think I’m the perfect girl for you, please send my foster family an enquiry so we can ensure we will go together like beans and carrots
All my love
