About Shrimp (Located in St Kilda)
Hello friends,
My name is Shrimp. Let me tell you a little bit about me!
I was dumped on a doorstep at the start of the year and it was very scary. I had very sore ears, very sore teeth and I was so scared that I had done wees everywhere! Because I still had a microchip I had to legally go to the pound which was very scary for me. I sat in there for a long time waiting to be desexed and finally came into care 3 weeks later.
While I was at the pound they named me Shrimp because they said I was so small!
I finally got out of the pound and slowly started to feel better. First my ears finally felt better and then I got some teeth removed which meant I could start grooming myself again! Finally I got given a nice bath which I hated but my foster mummy said I smell and feel much better.
I was very scared of people at first. I spend most of my time hiding in my box. I slowly started to explore my room at night. I love pats more than anything and even though I am shy I will accept unlimited pats. I like to be scratched on the bum and roll around in the safety of my box for pats. I started to get braver and braver the better I felt and even started coming out of my box to roll around for pats. My mummy says I have the cutest meow she has ever heard.
Unfortunately the other cat living there was mean to me and I am not a confrontational girl so I had to be moved. This meant I have gone back to living in my box bed but I have a sweet side just waiting to come out in the right circumstances. I am a low maintenance girl who likes to snooze, eat and have unlimited pats in the comfort of my own blanket and bed. My face looks a little grumpy but really I am a polite sweet girl who just wants home to call my own.
I am a healthy girl now and I would love a quiet indoor only home that will give me a chance. I promise to be the most gentle, sweet and kindest girl for anyone who is willing to give me a chance and lots of pats and patience to settle in.
