About Zeus
Please let us take this moment to introduce you to Zeus a gorgeous boy who’s rugged looks will you have thinking he is a tough guy but not so secretly he is a big softy who just wants to be a part of his family’s life and lots of love
Zeus is a 2 year and 6 month old Neapolitan Mastiff x German Shepherd who is just waiting for his chance to find his forever family.
Zeus is just wanting a best friend - he is a loyal gentle well-mannered boy who looooves to spend hours sleeping near a family member or hanging out with them either inside or outside. He loves to play with the ball and go for a walk but his most favorite thing in life is just being with his humans.
Zeus Is a very friendly boy to other dogs and would love to be their friend but unfortunately with his size he can often scare them or they growl at him (Poor Zeus spent the day at the doggy groomers the other day cause you know everyone needs a good bath once in a while) and he thought he had made friends with a poodle there – sadly the poodle was not impressed at him his butt sniffed by a 50kg dog and told Zeus off - Zeus’s heart broke and he went very quickly over into the corn and had a cry – he is definitely sensitive to others not liking him.
Zeus is not tested with cats
Zeus would love a home where there was someone that would be interested in walks or runs with him – he very much likes a good sniff when walking.
Zeus does have an impressive bark on when he needs but is also very responsive if you tell him no more – he is not a barker for no reason but will certainly let the neighborhood know if there is something wrong.
Zeus loves kids, but as he is a big breed dog and when playing he can from time to time accidentally knock a smaller child, he will always apologies with kisses and puppy dog looks.
Zeus is currently enjoying hanging out with his foster family and yes that means sleeping inside in the house on his dog bed at night – something he would definitely love to continue or outside with another dog for company.
As Zeus is a very sensitive boy he will need time to settle in with his new family and establish his routine (which he very much likes)
Zeus has a lot of love to give, and any family would be lucky to have him part of their lives.

Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email.
