Lilly & Semi ~ 12yr Old Chihuahua(On Trial10/10/21

Lilly & Semi are a pair of senior, bonded Chihuahuas. They have been together for seven years and are both 12years old.

Lilly is fawn and is the quieter of the two. She is very affectionate and loves to jump up and lie on your lap and have her belly scratched.

Semi is tan and is more gregarious, running around wagging his tail then waiting to be
picked up so he can sleep next to you on the chair. Their previous owner had Semi from a
pup and got Lilly when she was 5 years old. A change in his circumstances meant he could
not keep them.

They both enjoy going for walks and walk well on lead, Semi leading ahead and Lilly
following behind you. They are both house trained and spend most of their time in the
house or lying in the sun on the verandah. They sleep together on our bedroom floor. They
don’t play with toys and spend their days very quietly just enjoying our company. They
travel well in the car. They are friendly with small children and everyone we meet on our
walks.

They love their food and sit for treats. They get on well with our senior dog though Semi has had a couple of minor disagreements with him. Also Semi tends to be aggressive towards some dogs he meets on walks but with careful introduction will quieten down.

Though Lilly and Semi are bonded they do have the occasional disagreement. Neither dog is at all destructive nor do they dig in the garden. They very quickly adopted our home as their own and have never attempted to escape. When returning home from our walks we can drop
their leads and they run up to the gate and wait to be let in.

Lilly and Semi’s forever family would have someone at home most of the time and would
welcome them inside the home. They are not jumpers or diggers but would require good
fencing.
