About Georgia
Georgia's motto is Keep Calm and Carry On. The seven-year-old is a gorgeous tabby and white cat. Even though she is only a cat, Georgia demonstrated that she understood the real meaning of the British Bulldog Spirit when she was left to fend for herself for ten days after her human mother passed away. With only her cat companion, Mia for company, the forgotten pair somehow managed to scrape together enough sustenance and water to keep going. (If they were human animals, the mass media would have been clamouring to obtain their story with offers of riches beyond their wildest dreams.) Georgia is extremely friendly and loves human company – she can't get enough human attention. She will demand lots of pats and chin scratches and will enthusiastically give your hand head bumps while purring loudly. However, she is a slow eater. Georgia is a happy girl if she has a loving person to care for her.
This cat has been vet checked, desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and flea and worm treated.
Georgia has a Grade 1 heart murmur which currently just needs monitoring at regular vet visits. She has had full blood tests which came back with good results.
Georgia can be adopted with or without Mia. (As Mia is on the tubby side and Georgia is a slow eater, they will need to have a managed diet.)
They do need to be the only cat/s in the house whether adopted singly or together.
Adoption details
Our adoption process starts with a phone call, an informal chat & organise a time for a home inspection - this is the best way to ensure a good human/cat match. The adoption application is then forwarded to the Foster carer who will call to arrange a meet & greet. All going well you may be able to take your new furbaby home that day.
