Hi. I’m Donny! I am a sweet & loyal 10-month-old mixed breed...mum thinks kelpie x ridgeback, but that's just a guess. I'm looking for a home with older kids. Over 10-years is preferred. I'm good with small kids, I just need someone old enough to put me in my place.
I'm a clever boy and love to learn. Foster mum and I have been working on impulse control around food and I'm now waiting until I'm told I can eat, although it nearly kills me. I don't have food aggression, just excitability. I can sit, shake & touch and come when called most of the time. We are continuing to reinforce that here in care. I love bushwalks and paddling in the creeks. I stick close to foster mum and check in regularly.
I'm a good boy and sleep well in my crate at night. I prefer a proper introduction to any potential doggie friends as I need to know they are okay and won't hurt me. I'm in care with other dogs and enjoy their company. I would love a doggy friend to play with, but I would be okay in a single dog home as long as I can have regular playdates with known dog friends.
I'm in care with 3 cats. To be honest, I'm not a huge fan. I am kept in my crate when they are in the room because they terrify me.
I'm looking for a home that can provide physical and mental stimulation with ongoing training to help me be the best boy I can be.
If you think you are the perfect family for me, foster mum would love to hear from you.
Love & licks,
Donny xx
