About Gerald
Gerald is stunning 1yo and 4mths border collie x. He is a soft, gentle boy who takes time to feel confident in new situations and with new people. But is highly affectionate once he gets to know you, and will become your shadow.
Gerald is very dog social, though will shy away from pushy, dominant dogs. He is currently in foster care with a range of dogs up to giants, though he mostly seeks out the company of dogs his own size. He is not especially high energy for his breed mix.
Gerald loves human company and would like his owner to be home more often than not, such as retired or working from home (even after lockdown). No kids under 5 years please, as he is easily scared.
He has not been tested with cats or pocket pets. He is ok with chooks and horses through the fence.
Preferably 6 foot fencing, though maybe 5 foot if no areas that she can climb.
Gerald is in foster care on Central Coast NSW. Please take COVID travel restrictions into account when applying. Especially if you reside in the hard lockdown areas of Sydney.
Medical notes
Young and healthy.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
