About Flynn
Flynn is sweet natured, curious and smart. He loves cuddles, naps, exploring the garden and wrestling with his foster-sister Ellie.
His striking rock-star eyes seem to have him looking perpetually sad but he really is a happy, wriggly little guy.
Flynn has already mastered the doggy-door flap in his foster home and is fully toilet trained, once he knows where he needs to go to get outside. He is one to follow his humans around, being very curious about what they're doing.
He has shown some small signs of developing a guarding tendency around food and this will need to be managed as he matures but can be overcome with patience and consistency.
Flynn has been exposed to kids, new dogs, the mower and whipper snipper - all without any issues once he's been given a minute or two to gain some confidence in the situation. He'll be getting used to a leash and the world outside the backyard in the coming week.
Any family wanting to adopt this boy needs to be aware of his natural instincts and how these breeds will play & interact. Ideally, you will have owned Cattle dogs before & have a good understanding of their nature.
We are looking for a family committed to his ongoing training, socialisation & development. You will need to not only understand but be able to meet all his physical & mental stimulation needs. Working breed mixes need more than an average active dog.
Flynn requires a fairly active household with another playful, friendly dog at home that can cope with the cattle dog play style or someone home most days. Without another dog, you will need to provide positive doggy interactions for play.
This stunning boy lives mostly inside the home and sleeps inside. Access to outdoors is a must where he can romp around and snooze in the sun.
If you are wanting to register your interest in this boy, please complete the adoption enquiry form on our Fetching Dogs website to be considered.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
