About Mace
Snuggly love-bug Mace's favourite thing to do is have a nap-lap with his humans. A champion sleeper, Mace will grow into a large, strong dog who may never realise that he's gotten too big for a lap! Mace is such a good napper, he'll even happily sleep in the laundry, right through the washing machine spin cycle.
Mace has shown in foster care that he'll choose to be with his humans first and his four-legged family second. He does enjoy a game of chase and likes squeaky tennis balls and other noisy toys the most. The noisier, the better!
Toilet training is going really well and Mace has been exposed to kids, new dogs, the mower and whipper snipper - all without any issues. He'll be getting used to a leash and the world outside the backyard in the coming week.
Munching on frozen carrot sticks, laying in the sun and demolishing egg cartons can keep Mace amused for quite a while.
Whilst Mace is a champion napper, he still requires a home committed to his ongoing education, socialisation and meeting his physical & mental stimulation needs. He would enjoy being with his family for all those family activities and adventures.
You should have another friendly, playful dog at home for company or someone home most days. He's a mostly indoor dog with need for outdoor access for extra snoozing in the sunshine, Mace is not suited to being left alone outside for long periods.
If you can offer this sweet boy a home full of love and activity, register your interest by completing the adoption enquiry form on our Fetching Dogs website to be considered.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
