About Pico
Pico is such a sweet girl who is very submissive with others until she becomes comfortable and then her crazy dog side shows!
She loves every and any toy and is very cuddly. She’s quite vocal when playing and has more of the cattle dog drive in her. Any family wanting to adopt this girl needs to be aware of her natural instincts and how these breeds will play & interact. Ideally, you will have owned Cattle dogs before & have a good understanding of their nature.
Pico has been doing well with training whilst in care and knows how to “sit” and “shake” and is quite stubborn when leash walking but with the right amount of encouragement and treats she will master it!! She also is crate trained and sleeps 8pm - 5am maybe waking once at night for a poo/wee.
We are looking for a family committed to her ongoing training, socialisation & development. You will need to not only understand but be able to meet all her physical & mental stimulation needs. Working breed mixes need more than an average active dog.
Pico would adapt to most households but would prefer a quieter and fairly active household. She requires another playful, friendly dog at home that can cope with the cattle dog play style or someone home most days. Without another dog, you will need to provide positive doggy interactions for play.
This gorgeous gal lives mostly inside the home and sleeps inside in her crate. Access to outdoors is a must where she can romp around and snooze in the sun, after all, she loves a nap or three!

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
