✨🌺 INTRODUCING CAPELLA 🌺✨
Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight….
Hello, my name is Capella! I’ve been with the Angels for quite some time now, over a year to be exact! I came into care very pregnant after being found roaming the streets, it’s been a long time since my babies were adopted now, but I’m still here… waiting! Maybe you can change that, so that I don’t need to spend another year waiting for my forever family?
Nature
I am adjusting to household life and don’t mind the noises and movements humans make. I will hide when I first go to my new home I’m sure, but after a while I’ll emerge and make myself at home. My Foster Mum works from home and I’ve made myself quite comfortable in her study with her. I absolutely love sleeping on snuggle beds and will knead away on them (or soft blankets)! I’m a real softy at heart, I just need a little more time to learn to like pats from people.
I like to sleep on the window sill and will often curl up right near my Foster Mum. I watch her movements and don’t mind being close to her, and she says she can tell by my movements and facial expression that I want pats, I’m just not really sure how to ask for them or receive them! When she does go to pat me though, I usually retreat back to my window sill! I don’t like the idea of being touched yet but I’m making progress every single day and my Foster Mum thinks all that I need now is a patient forever family to help me along the way.
My Foster Mum says she often catches me rolling around playing with feather toys and balls, and running around making “brrrrr” noises. She thinks that once I learn to trust humans more, I will play with them too!
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
A child free home would be best for me whilst I learn to like being touched. Of course, if you have children who are understanding and know not to touch me just yet, I could be totally fine with that - it’s not the noise that bothers me! Let’s just start with the adults touching me/gaining my trust first?
I would love another cat in my forever home, one that is friendly towards people will teach me that humans aren’t to be scared of. My Foster Mum says I get on great with all of the other kittens and cats in my foster home, but I also really don’t mind being alone either! She thinks I would be fine as an only cat too.
I live in a home with a very big doggo, I’m used to her smell and her noises, so with slow introductions I could live with a cat-savvy dog.
Likes / Dislikes
I love food, I currently eat wet food twice a day and have biscuits available 24/7. I am fully litter trained and will use both an enclosed or a non-enclosed litter tray.
My PURR-fect home would be with a patient and loving family that understand I’m not sure about human hands just yet. Someone who is willing to give me time to come out of my shell and realise that pats are good! I would be happy to live with or without children and other cats, so would fit in to most families provided you give me time.
