Requirements:
* An active home committed to ongoing structured socialisation
* A home who includes Tori in everyhting that they do - she is the ultimate sidekick
* No children under the age of 16 please
* no cats or pocket pets

Tori is a lovely Heeler of about 20 kgs. I met Tori first after her second failed adoption from SODR at about 18 months of age. I was to be her eighth home. Too many for one dog; let alone a Heeler.

She is absolutely beautiful with humans. She has in my presence brought a ball to a three year old who got her to sit, drop and leave her toy for him to throw it. She’s happy and friendly with every human she meets. I’ve had her off-lead with multiple different dogs of different sexes, ages and sizes. She generally just ignores them to get back to us. She is extremely human orientated
She is extremely well toilet trained and wants the ability to go to the toilet on the grass. She rarely wees or poos in her kennel.

She listens to you and tries to impress.

She can sit, drop and leave, up, down, back AhhAhh, no and good girl. She drops into a beautiful heel at your side when her food bowl is above her head. She is generally very obedient.

Tori’s favourite thing of all is to play fetch the frisbee. She destroyed the frisbee when she was left alone with it, now she has her Kong.

Tori has been taught to jump into your arms She does it particularly when she greets you. This has been discouraged and she no longer does it with us.
She also gets excited and jumpy and can grab onto your clothes. This has been discouraged and she does not do it now.

Definitely NOT suited to cats

Tori NEEDS a special, caring, loving home where she has a job to do and she is needed. She needs someone with time. She doesn’t need other dogs, she needs a special human. Someone who will understand her and use patience and repetition.

She loves people and wants to be with you.

This girl is a joy to have by your side.
