Medium Male American Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix Dog
I've been adopted!
Sweet little Frankie is lucky to be alive. He was taken to the Barnyard Vet in Penguin late one night after being hit by a car travelling 80kmph down the highway. The veterinary staff stitched Frankie back together and tried to find his owner, however his microchip had not been registered and he was not wearing a collar. After weeks of searching, Frankie's owner could not be found.
We can't understand why no one came looking for Frankie, he is a loyal, loving and tolerant boy. He has been able to make friends with all the humans at the Centre, as well as some of the dogs. He has very good doggie manners and managed to win the heart of one dog who previously did not want any dog friends.
Frankie will suit most families, but would prefer to live with another dog, or a family that is home a lot. He does not like to be left alone, and will need to feel safe and secure. He has some residual fear of cars, which is very understandable, so will need help learning that the world can be a fun place.
