About Ruby ~ 2yr Old Staffy X Wolfhound
Meet the ravishing Ruby. Ruby is 2 years old Staffy x Wolfhound who is fun loving, exciting doggo who loves cuddles, kisses and lots of attention.
Ruby is a super social and friendly young girl. She loves to meet new people slowly and is great with children. Ruby does not seem to like new dogs being overly excited to meet her, so a nice slow and gentle introduction is how this young lady cares to be greeted. After a nice greeting, she is a friendly and playful girl who gets along with others very well. She would suit someone who is able to give her the time and gentle approach she needs towards meeting others.
Ruby is an inside/outdoor dog and has been house trained as long as you take her out during the night before bed. Ruby sleep's inside at night time and can sometimes wander into your bedroom for a quick cuddle. Ruby is more suited for being a one on one pet as she loves soaking up all the attention. She will need to be welcomed inside in her new home, as this is what she is accustomed to and truly loves being with her family all the time.
Ruby loves to go on walks and lay out in the sun. She won't run away unless you're running with her as she always needs to be by your side. Ruby will suit an active family with no other dogs or pets as she is not tested with cats or pocket pets at this stage. She is a beautiful family companion and will be an incredible addition to any family home.
Ruby is not suited to homes where she is left for long hours alone, and would prefer someone home throughout the day to keep her company. She is a smart and intelligent dog with a lot to offer so would benefit from someone with breed experience and the ability to ensure she is kept mentally and physically fulfilled.
Being a large breed dog, Ruby requires 5-6ft colourbond (or similar) fencing with no holes or gaps. She will not suit apartment, courtyard or small yard living as she loves to run and play. We also ask that you please consider your circumstances post lockdown, Ruby will not suit bieng left alone for many hours of the day throughout the week.
Ruby is currently in care at Belmont South NSW (south of Newcastle NSW).
