About Odin ~ 1yo Mastiff X Bull Arab
Would you look at that face?! How could anyone not fall in love with this handsome guy? This is Odin, a big sooky hunky 1 year old Mastiff x Bull Arab. Odin is a beautiful BIG BOY but his size is also equivalent to the size of sook he is, he just loves cuddles.
Message from Odin: So I'm pretty handsome, I get told that a lot, but what I want you to know about me is that I am on search for a new home, a home with an active family that is willing to spend lots of time with me. I'm still a goofy puppy and full of bounce and the usual puppy fun. I’m learning lots of new things with my foster carer, who always says I’m such a smart boy. I pick up new tricks quite quickly with treats. Oh how I love treats!
Odin is a young and vibrant young boy with the world at his feet. He is a big strong boy and just bubbles over with cuteness every single day. Odin is searching for a very specific family. Odin is food motivated, and is already responding well to training, basic commands sit, stay and drop. He does need work with walking on a lead, but has been making great progress with his foster mum. Odin is very friendly boy, who has lots of love and cuddles to give, has always been an outside dog, but loves to be welcome inside the home. Odin would best suit a home where someone is home most of the time to enable him to be part of the family.
YES! Odin will suit your home if:
- You have large breed dog experience and are NOT first time dog owners.
- You have the ability and commitment and to train a strong young dog to be the best boy he can be, he tries so so hard.
- You have a large backyard with 6ft colour bond (or equivalent) fencing with no holes, gaps or weak spots. Including gates and side entrances.
- Have dog savvy children over the age of 10years due to his size and energetic puppy nature.
- Are willing to commit to Odin for his entire lifetime and have considered your situation post COVID lockdown period.
- Love oversized lap dogs smothering you with their affection and love.
- Have a huge Odin shaped gap in your life, where he will fit right in and be your best mate
- Have the love and care to give to this gorgeous gorgeous boy, and to provide ALL of the treats he could ever dream of.
NO! Odin will NOT suit your home if:
- You're a first time dog owner, or have never owned a large breed dog such as a Mastiff or Bull Arab.
- We require a strong and active family to fulfill Odin's physical needs, if this doesn't match your lifestyle, then you will not be the perfect match for Odin.
- Have very young children (anyone under the age of 10years within your home)
- Live in an apartment, have a small courtyard or small yard.
- You cannot provide a safe place for Odin and have anything less than 6ft (1.6-1.8m high) secure fencing (such as pool fencing or picket fencing).
- You haven't considered your lifestyle after COVID lockdown restrictions are lifted.
- Have cats or pocket pets.
- Not willing to commit to the 15years that Odin will likely be living with you.
- Not willing to commit to furthering Odin's training and development.
