About Miss Hal
Hello, I'm Hal! Actually, my formal name is Miss Hal – and consequently, I have strict rules around remaining aloof until I feel you have earned my respect and trust, and thereby have the right to 'call me Hal' 😉
I am the most opinionated of my siblings. I don't believe in being 'easy'. I need time to adapt, to watch and observe, and make sure you are trustworthy. But, once I am assured the surroundings – and you – are safe and friendly, then I am a little ball of sweetness who will even honour you with my presence on your lap at night…
Hal and her siblings had a tough start to life – their mum gave birth behind a BBQ in a cold yard. Thankfully for them, the homeowner took the little family in and became their foster carer. He has adopted the mother, with the kittens now looking to find their own perfect homes.
Hal is the most challenging of her siblings, and the most reserved at first. Like her sisters, she is very wary at first meeting and she takes time to come around and trust. However, once she feels safe and comfortable with you and her surroundings, she is a very sweet and loving girl. Hal is the darkest in colour of the girls – a beautiful rich blue-grey, with just the tiniest patch of white on her chest.
(Please note: all our cats and kittens are adopted as inside only)

Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks (for dogs) / 6 weeks (for cats) sometimes more, see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
