About Magellan
Hello, my name is Magellan! That is a bit of a mouthful, so my foster carer just calls me Madge 🙂
Since I was named after an explorer, I am the bravest of my siblings and the first to check out my surroundings, explore a new room or toy, and investigate new people. After I have completed a thorough inspection and am satisfied all is in order, I am content to curl up on the bed and have a snooze…
Magellan and her siblings had a tough start to life – their mum gave birth behind a BBQ in a cold yard. Thankfully for them, the homeowner took the little family in and became their foster carer. He has adopted the mother, with the kittens now looking to find their own perfect homes.
Magellan is a gorgeous grey tabby with a sweet face and friendly demeanour. Like her sisters she is a bit of a purr-machine. While Magellan is the most adventurous, all the siblings are shy to start but just need to have some time to adjust and trust. Then they are adorable soft bundles of purrs and love.
(Please note: all our cats and kittens are adopted as inside only)

Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks (for dogs) / 6 weeks (for cats) sometimes more, see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
