Zorro

Zorro is a gorgeous, playful and energetic four year old boy who believes life is a ball. He is very docile, with not an aggressive bone in his body. Zorro is very fun to take on walks and loves swimming and chasing his ball out at the weir.

If you can get him to keep still long enough he loves a cuddle, but will probably only give you his attention once every ball or toy is out of sight and mind. Once he realises it’s cuddle time, he is all in and will lounge on top of you for eons.

Zorro is fabulous with other dogs, very friendly and playful. He also has got on well with the two female cats living at his foster carer’s home, trying to lick them all over their heads.

Zorro has been an outside dog and would do well in a larger back yard with lots of toys to keep him occupied. Because Zorro is such a high energy dog he also releases his anxiety by keeping on the move for as long as possible so it may take a few days for him to stop long enough to get a hand on him, but once you earn his trust there is no going back!

Being a “blue heeler” he will guard your home with a bark that means business but is easily calmed if you tell him no. This is not a dog to be left to get bored in your back yard for days, he’ll only get up to mischief! Zorro is the sweetest boy I’ve ever met and just wants to be loved, if you throw his ball, take him on adventures and give him lots of cuddles he’s a happy boy, and this is also the least he deserves.
