About Dotty
Meet Dotty! A 3 year old Kelpie mix (suspected Jack Russel) girl. Dotty is about half the size of a full grown Kelpie. She has a very sweet disposition and is relaxed around other dogs, people and children.
She loves going for walks especially to the park where she loves chasing and retrieving a tennis ball. She is easy to walk on the leash. She displays all the kelpie characteristics such as loyalty, intelligence and affectionate except for the boundless kelpie energy.
Dotty's ideal home would be one in which the family would be moderately active that would include a at least a 45 minute walk each day. She would suit suburban block at a minimum with a secure fence. She should be allocated a secure and comfortable place for her bed within the house and although she would be ok to be left for a few hours with a doggy friend, a family member to be home the majority of the day would be ideal.
Dotty is confident using a doggie door and knows to go outside to do her business. She loves to sit and sleep on the sofa cuddled up to her owner/carer or a doggie bed placed in a position near to the family living space. Dotty's recall is very good and she will sit on command and is still working on her 'stay'.
Most kinds of families would Dotty as long as they understand the mental and physical stimulation needs of my breed and are committed to ongoing training. Dotty is a sociable girl and would love to have a furry sibling to keep her company. Most of all Dotty would like a family who will love her and include here in their lives.
