About Xena and Fifi
Xena and Fifi
We the sweetest cuddliest mum daughter duo ever. We just love to cuddle and snuggle. We don’t mind car rides and absolutely love going on walks.
We are good with other dogs and don’t mind cats either (as long as said cat doesn’t look suspicious while slinking down the passage).
We are looking for a home that doesn’t have small kids and where someone is home most of the time.
Xena is the more confidant and outgoing of the two, doesn’t mind visitors or kids as long as the first move is on her terms.
Fifi get nervous with new people and takes a while to be comfortable them especially men. Patience is the name of the game.
Medical notes
7 year old Xena is desexed and microchipped, up to date with her C5 vaccination as well as flea, tick, intestinal worm and heart worm prevention.
Xena had a dental done recently and lost 13 teeth, she has healed well from the surgery.
She does have some low grade bilateral patella luxation upon vet examination which is common with the chihuahua breed, however it doesn’t cause her any issues so she hasn’t had surgery. A joint supplement would benefit her as she ages.
4 year old Fifi has bilateral patella luxation which is common with the chihuahua breed. She has had surgery on her right hind leg to repair this. During the months following surgery, Fifi’s healing process didn’t go as planned so she still has patella luxation, although less than before. She needs to be taken for daily walks to keep the muscles strong in her hind legs, and she needs to stay on joint support to help with the arthritis associated with this condition. She may need patella surgery again in the future.
She has recently had a dental and had three teeth extracted. She is desexed, microchipped, up to date with C5 vaccination, flea, tick, intestinal worm and heart worm prevention.
