About Ollie DL2725
Ollie is a special dude looking for a foster or forever home! If it's character you're looking for, Ollie has tonnes.
Ollie loves adventuring with you. He enjoys car rides and boat trips. He likes playing in the sand at the beach and barking at the waves even if he has no interest in swimming. Although, he does like to dip his toes in the paddle pool on a warm day.
Ollie is perfect for an active person or couple who are looking for an exercise buddy. He currently has a nice long walk or run in the morning to start his day and a shorter one at night. And you cannot forget lots of play time!
He loves toys and adores playing fetch as well as hide & seek. You can play along with him, or hide his ball for him to find. Brain games are his jam. He likes lettuce, but his favourite treats are prawn crackers. Don't even try to trick him with gross things like strawberries, though.
Ollie is friendly with dogs and hasn't met any cats. He has lived with another dog and would be happy with an energetic female dog for company in his new home. He can be very excitable around people, so you'll need to help him learn to contain his excitement.
Due to mistreatment in his past life, Ollie is not comfortable being around children at all. He can be protective of his food, so he has been trained to eat after being given the release word, and will also back away from his food when told.
Ollie loves cuddles and he really loves the vets. He prefers sleeping on a doona over his bed and can occasionally be found suckling on the doona. What a precious boy.
Now that you know all about Ollie, can you picture him fitting into your life? We can't wait to help him meet his perfect match! Email DFLrescue@gmail.com today to apply.
