Boof ~ 4yr Old Bull Arab X(On Trial 3/10/21)

Boof is a beautifully brown spotted 4yr Old Bull Arab X. He absolutely loves affection from everyone and will be the happiest face in the world every time you come home.

While he loves to spend most of his time cuddled up with foster parents or sunbathing in this nice spring weather, he also gets very excited to play fetch, tug of war, eat treats of every variety and go for walks.

Since coming into the foster family’s home, he has been picking up skills of sit and recall. Boof can be quite strong on the lead but with the right leadership and just a little bit of time, he will walk nicely by your side (with the occasional tree he has to sniff). Boof wins over everyone that meets him with his cute face and nice cuddles, he loves to be as close as possible when sitting together, so if necessary some boundaries will need to be set from day one. In relation, he learns these quite quickly, knowing to stop at the garage door of the foster family’s house. Boof is accustomed to both in door and outdoor living as he has tried both at the foster house with minimal reaction to either.

We believe Boof’s forever home will be any that is able to show him so much love and attention.

He has been untested with pocket pets, cats and other dogs in the home, however judging by his friendly reactions on walks he may be suitable to a house with similar size dog to play with. An enclosed yard with normal sized fencing is suitable, however he does love to run around so a decent backyard is necessary.

Due to his affectionate and excitable nature, Boof would thrive in a house with older children that have experience with dogs (ages 8yrs and up). Furthermore, Boof is highly motivated by treats, so further training and leadership would benefit his settling into a new household.

Boof has shown no reaction to being left at home alone, usually being left with puzzle toys to work on while we run to the shops. He is also happy to chill out quietly in the sun on a nice weekend we decide to sleep in. Boof is a very chilled dog that also loves to exercise when presented with the chance. We hope Boof can find a home to give him all the love he deserves.

Boof is currently in foster care in the Port Stephens NSW region. Boof is currently NOT available for interstate adoption due to COVID-19 restrictions, and is only available to the immediate LGA, no out of area adoptions are permitted at this time.

Boofs adoption fee is $350 which includes his desexing, vaccinations, microchipping and treatment for fleas and worms.
