Milly is a sweet old girl and once she gets to know you loves her people pals!

She has lived a life with a nice family since a puppy but, unfortunately Milly is not suited to a family with children. Her current family’s child is 3 years old now and wanting to engage with Milly. The family feels it’s time this girl found a new quiet home where she can just chill out in her own space and not worry about little ones or too much going on around her.

Milly loves to have a backyard where she can have a wander around but definitely will need to be more of an inside dog where it’s warm and safe and definitely needs to sleep indoors.

As beautiful and sweet as Milly appears she does come with some extensive behavioural issues which will require an experienced larger dog savvy person to manage. Milly can be anxious/skittish at times especially on windy days or through thunderstorms she also doesn’t like banners, flags or hazard tape. Milly also is not good around food, she resource guards, therefore is requiring someone who can understands this and be cautious around feeding and keeping her separate while she eats.

Milly will need to be the only animal in the household but is a very good girl and is toilet trained and simply likes having a long snooze in the warmth on her own bed.

Milly enjoys getting out for a walk every day but doesn’t enjoy other dogs running up to her or being in her face so off lead dog parks are a no go! But, she really enjoys going for a nice stroll and sniffing and exploring new areas.

This girl is after a quiet, relaxed life where she can do her own thing and then when she feels comfortable come sit near her people pals for some much needed pats.
