Hey guys I’m Bear! I’ve had a rough start in foster care testing heartworm positive, but guess what! I’ve been given the OK to find my furever home! I got the name bear, because well, I kinda look like black bear!
The things I love are food, cuddles, walks and car rides. What I don’t like, are other pups entering my territory. I’m pretty chill in public but will need to be supervised with other dogs as I can get a bit yappy and protective of my humans. From my experience in foster care I get territorial of my house and don’t like new dogs coming over. I will also bark when strangers come by. I’m a very loyal boy!
Once when my humans were out, I was naughty and dug my way out of the yard to look for them. Because of this I’ve become an inside dog but I’m a low key guy, I’ll sleep all day and want cuddles. When my humans are home, I’m fine inside and outside. As for play time, I’m only just starting to get my playfulness back since ending my treatment.
I am very human friendly - from toddlers to adults, I am a little smoocher! Think I much prefer humans than dogs.
If you think I’m the one for you, please enquire to meet me!
