About Duke 🎾
Duke is our 6.5 year old Blue Pied French Bulldog…..and what a stunning boy he is! Duke is in care with 1 young dog that he loves to follow around and sleep with but doesnt appreciate him asking to play, as well as a couple of humans that he loves to request much attention from.
He has a passion for toys 🦴🎾He occasionally growls when his toy keeps getting taken off him and over excited. Also everything could be a possible chew toy, so a bone or chew toy won't go amiss. He hasn't shown any food aggression, just food obsession and has learnt sit and stay through food training.
Duke loves to spend time outside sunbathing, going for a walk to the park and chasing balls. Be careful if you let him off lead because even though he has pretty good recall, he also has selective hearing. He is fully toilet and crate trained.
Duke likes to hang out with his foster brother but is a bit of a grumpy old man so he isn't a fan of highly energetic dogs when he's out and about and if another dog starts a fight he likes to finish it. He's not selective about size. So the company of a quiet natured or older dog at home would be best, or an only dog home.
He hasn't had much time with young kids, but he has spent time with children over 7 years and has loved all the attention. He's very much an attention seeker so will get cuddles from anyone, wherever he can.
Duke is very much a people dog and is looking for a home where he will have the companionship of his people, more often than not. He has had both nares and soft palate corrective surgery done while in for desex.
Please do your research before deciding that a French Bulldog is the breed for you….they are very heat sensitive dogs and special care must be taken to protect their spines. They do however have the funniest little personalities and will have you wrapped around their little paws in no time 🥰
Duke is located in Maryville NSW and available to adopt now ❤️

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
