About Winnie
Winnie is a very attractive young calico girl with a lovely fluffy tail.
It took Winnie a few days to settle in at SAFE and she's still not quite sure what's happening.
It seems like she wants to be affectionate but when you approach her she backs away or uses her paws to tell you to leave. The mixed messages she's giving indicate that she's not used to receiving attention and when she gets it she doesn't quite know what to do. We think this could be due to the fact that she was bullied by another cat in her last home; the other cat was confident and took all the attention and Winnie was always in the background. Because of this we want her to go to a home with either no children or children over 12 and she needs to be the only cat. In time, with patience and understanding, we are sure that Winnie will relax, trust you and blossom.
Due to current COVID movement restrictions we have had to put temporary measures in place. If you live in an 'LGA of concern' we would prefer that you don't attend SAFE Haven during this time. Should you live outside these LGAs please review the information below on how to proceed.
If the statements below describe you & your home, please call 0404 753 227.
I do not have young children under 12 living at home
I have a quiet home
I am prepared for Winnie to take a while to settle
If Winnie isn't the cat for you please monitor our website for your perfect match!
