About Summer & Autumn
A Good Samaritan found Summer & Autumn living on the street. They were both very scared and went into foster care where they lived happily with other cats and rabbits but it took them a long time to trust their foster carer.
Both girls are wary when approached but once they warm up they enjoy pats. When she trusts you Autumn enjoys being stroked and even rolls onto her back to ask for more! She is playful but often quite happy to watch from the sidelines as Summer plays. She LOVES playing with the rabbits' hay and sometimes ran around the house with a piece hanging from the side of her mouth!
Summer is very playful and a bit of a hunter and she will chase a toy for ages! She enjoys pats for a little while and then is happy to do her own thing.
Together these two sisters give each other confidence and help each other adjust to new situations. Summer and Autumn are dear little girls and will need to be kept indoors in a quiet, safe home with no small children and they will both need quite a while to settle in and may never be lap cats.
Due to current COVID movement restrictions we have had to put temporary measures in place. If you live in an ‘LGA of concern’ we would prefer that you don’t attend SAFE Haven during this time. Should you live outside one of these LGAs please review the information below on how to proceed.
If the statements below describe you & your home, please call 0404 753 227. Please note Summer and Autumn must be adopted together and we are taking expressions of interest only.
I do not have children under 15 living at home
I have a quiet home
I will allow both girls to settle in, in their own time
I understand they may not be cuddly cats and might not want to sit on laps
I will keep them inside
If Summer and Autumn aren’t the cats for you please monitor our website for your perfect match!
