Hello!! I'm Bonnie. I am a sweet, special older girl who unfortunately didn't have the best start to life, for this reason I need my next home to be forever! Don't let my age fool you - I can be a very calm, relaxed girl in the right home. I will also be the most lovely companion it just might take me a little bit of time.. so please be patient with me! My future owner will need to take things slowly with me, allow me time and space to settle into a new home, and allow for any introductions to new environments, fur friends or people to be controlled - by this I mean I would like walks to avoid peak hour dog traffic until I'm confident enough to find my feet on the road - quiet areas and quiet walk times would be ideal. I have had to fight for all resources all my life so I would really love to be showered with toys and treats all the time and have unlimited access to them - and to keep your sticky fingers out of my bowl! I just really really need a consistent forever home that can allow me to cuddle and snooze on the couch with you. My future home could be with calm, older teens (16+) pending a meet. I'm a little bit older but still quite active, so if you're a little bit older but active we would be a perfect match!
For my future home I will need to be the only dog. My home will also need to be without cats or pocket pets too! When you meet with me, you will also meet with our behaviour team who will provide you with extra ongoing advice and training!
