About Tonka
Hi Im Tonka a 14 year old male Chihuahua cross looking for a loving home to see out my golden years.
Don't let my grey face fool you, I am still quite energetic for a senior. I love afternoon walks and am tols I walk well on a lead.
When at home, I am equally happy playing with my toys or curling up on the couch. i will come and sit next to you when I want pats or tummy rubs.
I need to be an only dog as I do not like to share my toys, food or humans with other dogs.
Please no cats. I am not a fan of cats!
I love people but I have not been around small children. I enjoy going on outings, even to the Vet.
Have you got room in your home and heart for me?
Medical notes
Tonka is a senior boy who came to us with a few lumps that needed removing. The two on his chest were mast cell tumours, however they were removed with good margins and he has recovered well. The lump removed from his knee was benign. We recommend that he be monitored for any future lumps and have regular vet checks.
He has also had a dental and had 3 teeth removed, he has healed well from this surgery.
He is up to date with his C5 vaccination and has had an annual injection for heart worm in August. He is also up to date with flea, tick and intestinal worm prevention.
