About Bud
Please meet little BUD of the Spring Litter, a super sweet male kelpie x pup, born on 6 April 2021.
Bud's mum is a tricolour kelpie but we have no information on his father, though we guess he's a working dog breed.
A mild-mannered and highly affectionate puppy, Bud loves humans, is dog-friendly and is fine with the resident cat in his foster home.
He is an inside-outside dog and loves to cuddle his favourite human in front of TV in the evenings, as you can see from the photo in this profile.
To be happy and content, Bud will need plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation. Secure fencing is a must. He is not suited to full-time workers.
Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and there is another compatible dog for Bud to play with. Prior experience with the kelpie breed will be highly regarded. As always, secure fencing is essential.
If you are interested in meeting Bud, PLEASE COMPLETE THE ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
His adoption fee is $750 and at the point of adoption he will be desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
Applicants must be prepared to travel to Warwick, Queensland to meet Bud.
Medical notes
Bud was desexed on 23 September 2021.
