About Angus
Angus a Labrador cross who is a big sweetheart. All he wants to do is be by your side laying at your feet or next to your bed a night.
Angus is extremely well trained and mostly well behaved. He does bark if someone comes to the gate that it’s not in a threatening way it’s just letting you know there’s someone there.
Angus tolerates younger dogs but would more suited to be a companion to a couple or with another dog but he tends to get jealous when another dog tries to come for my attention and can be a little grumpy.
But in saying that he enjoys going to the dog park and playing with the other dogs until he’s had enough and then he’ll let them know, he just likes the socialising if anything but he will just stay near you.
He’s definitely enjoyed being a single dog and having all the attention. I take him down to the dog park and everyone loves him as he is so lovable. He sits next to you and gets pats and looks at you with these big brown eyes.
When we go walking he is so well behaved off and on lead and when walking off lead he walks single file behind you.
Angus enjoys going into the water and loves his food and can be a little bit food silly at times but it’s harmless. You will need to watch his weight too. You just have to set your boundaries with him. I honestly think that he needs to go to someone that can give him their full attention and is home more than not.
Coming to me he’s had it pretty easy. He comes inside as much as you will let him and sleeps in his bed or naps on the floor underneath my desk.
Angus tolerates my ragdoll cats too. I hope he finds his forever home where he can live out the rest of his life as the centre of someone’s universe. He is so loyal and affectionate. He still has plenty of love to give.
PS: Please take extreme care in dog off-leash parks.
