On Hold
About Leo - 3 year old cat (on trial 10/10/21)
This is little Leo!
Like many of us, this poor little guy has had a rough 2021. His human dad passed away, and Leo spent a bit of time on his own before he could be caught and brought into care. He had a very sore eye and an impressive tapeworm infection for all his efforts. On top of that his all-inclusive trip to Bali was cancelled and it really bummed him out. Now that he is on the mend he is looking to close out the year with a new family of his very own. Maybe it's you!
Here are the pertinent Leo details:
- Typical “little old man” loves to just sleep and eat. Still svelte though!
- He can be quite timid (we believe it is because the few weeks before he was in care, his owner died and was left outside to fend for himself).
- Very quiet. No rock-band rehearsals at 3AM for this guy.
- Not "in your face" friendly but enjoys a head scratch (he might come more out of his shell in a quiet environment)
- Will sit next to his foster mum but on his terms. Like you might need to give him a treat or put on a show he likes.
- Is dog friendly, unsure about cats (he grew up with a great dane and has had no issue with his foster mum's Pomeranian).
- Fully vaccinated and wormed
- Currently receiving treatment for conjunctivitis for his right eye. Soon those baby blues will be sparkling!
- Tape worm all gone 😊
- Perfectly litter trained tiny gentleman.
- Will suit an elderly couple or a single female (he seems a little shy of males but his owner was an elderly male).
- Eating very well!
- Responds to whistling (not sure how his foster mum worked that out!)
- Must be kept indoors or in a secure outdoor enclosure for his safety.

Medical notes
Leo is currently finishing up treatment (eye drops) for conjunctivitis in his right eye.
