Please meet Peanut.

Peanut is a handsome big boy who needed some love and patience for him to be able to come out of his shell. He was recently surrendered to SCAR with his brothers and is now on the lookout for his forever home.

Peanut thrives in a quiet environment where he can take his time to build a bond with his humans. Don't let his initial hiding fool you, once he knows you're only there to show him love he'll be purring, talking and sitting on your lap in no time.

Peanut has always been an inside cat and we hope his new family will continue to have him inside where he is safe. He loves to play, so providing toys and fun enrichment items will allow him to practice natural behaviours in an indoor environment.

Be careful though, this boy will give you some seriously strong headbutts to tell you he loves you.

Peanut is also friendly with other cats and would do well with another sociable young cat in his forever home.

Please include a description of the home you will be able to provide like where the pet will be kept most of the day, what other animals are at the home, ages of children that live or frequently visit the home and any details of previous experience that you have had with this species or breed. The more details the faster we can speed up the process for a meet and greet with you. Be sure to ask any questions you may also have.
