About Levi
ITS TIME
For Levi to think about Leaving us….
I would like to introduce to the world one of our most special cases – Levi. Levi was surrendered as one of 4 dogs from a hoarding situation – living in filth and completely shut down to life. He (and his mates) were all severely emaciated – their bones nothing more than coat racks for their skin.
The physical and psychological impact of his dreadful upbringing instilled in Levi such fear of anything new. At just over one year Levi had never seen anything but he filth of the squalor that he was born in. Levi knew of no other possible existence.
Levi’s sudden eviction from the terrible environment was a massive shock for him. It was very touch and go in the first few weeks as Levi leaned heavily on the comfort of his mate Billy Jean (possibly his mother) who is also now available. He would not allow any human approach and would cower and cringe in fear. It was heartbreaking to observe. However throughout out the ordeal Levi was never vicious nor did he try to attack despite how completely petrified he was
Slowly bust surely with patience and kindness of all our team – Levi has learned to trust his humans. He was separated from his comfort buddy and introduced to new pooches and shortly after - suddenly Levi turned a corner. He allowed us to walk him for the first time and it was a very emotional day for us all.
Since then Levi has developed into a loving and intelligent dog. He is still a little wary of strange folk – but he loves all his carers here and I have no doubt in the right environment with understanding owners – Levi will shed his last memories of his awful previous life will slip away forever and he will continue to develop skills to cope with his new love of life and new things.
So – If you have a quiet home environment, have the patience to continue with Levi’s rehab and if you understand the concept of how important rules and boundaries will be for this boy – and want to meet an amazing pooch - contact us for a time to meet Levi.

Medical notes
All our Celebrities are wormed, flea treated on admission to the program. They are also vaccinated and microchipped. They are also sterilized or Adoption fees include a voucher for sterilization at our supporting vets if they are not already done.
Levi is already sterilized so he is ready for his new adventure!!

In order for your interest to be taken seriously tell us a little about yourself, if you have children, and if so what ages, other pets (and about them too) and a little about the home/ working environment you are offering.
All our "Celebrity Pets” are waiting to meet you at our shelter at 12 Midas Road, Malaga.
