**Please note: Mable would ideally like to live with another sociable, playful similar dog to learn from, preferably male**
Mable is young Shepherd looking for her forever home with active and dog savvy people. This intelligent girl came to us from a pound and has been in foster building up her confidence and learning new skills.
Mable's new home should have a backyard for her to play in, as well as welcome her indoors as a true family member. She has been sleeping in her crate at night inside, and spending her time learning basic skills and socialising with her canine foster brother.
Mable will need ongoing training using positive reinforcement methods. She can have some reactivity when seeing other dogs on walks which can be caused by frustration. Adopters will have the chance to learn from our Behaviour trainer how to manage and help Mable with this.
Mable would be best not going to dog parks as she plays too rough for small sized dogs, but she plays beautifully with medium and large breed dogs.
Mable is a bit too boisterous for young children, older teenagers are preferred.
Please no cats or pocket pets.
If you are after a sociable, intelligent and energetic large breed dog to spend your time teaching her all the skills she needs then please apply today.
