About Benji
Benji is a highly intelligent, friendly and handsome young man on the hunt for his forever home.
Extensive dog training or hound experience is MUST for Benji. Benji will make for a perfect forever companion if his new people commit wholeheartedly to his training.
True to his breed, Benji has a great sense of smell! He loves using his nose on walks and playing games that require him to use the scenthound in him to find his food or a yummy treat. Boundaries will be a must for Benji as he finds his feet in his new home.
With his high stamina, Benji would thrive with a big backyard to play in and lots of physical and mental stimulation. He would make for an excellent jogging companion. His forever home will need to commit to meeting his needs on a daily basis.
Being a young pup, Benji will also need his people to continue his training when greeting new people and dogs alike when out and about. Benji can be excitable as he just wants to meet everyone. He will also require ongoing toilet training, but is excellent with his crate and using his doggy door.
Benji would suit a home with no children or cats. We are confident that Benji would be happy in a home with another friendly dog companion, though this is not necessary for Benji to live a happy and fulfilling life.
If I sound perfect for you, please complete the short adoption application form in the attached link, please note this is the only way your application will be considered: https://homelesshounds.com.au/adopt/dogs
Medical notes
