About Penny
Penny is a gorgeous girl who just loves being around people. She loves the energy of children and enjoys playing with them as well as receiving the extra cuddles and pats she gets. Penny's idea of happiness is being your best friend, and she even likes meeting strangers. She loves playing ball in the backyard although sometimes forgets to drop the ball! She much prefers sleeping in the same room as her people at night. She's definitely a house dog and would prefer a home where she can be your shadow. She has not been used to being left alone for more than a couple of hours at a time and does seem to get a bit lonely, so a home with someone home a lot or part time workers would suit her best.
Penny is quite active and would love a daily walk. She loves going for outings and is a good girl on the lead.
Penny has a strong prey drive with small animals and livestock so she cannot be in a home or environment where she has access to cats, rabbits, sheep, chooks/ducks or similar animals. She will need to be kept on the lead if walked anywhere she might see livestock.
If you can offer Penny a loving, active and inclusive home then please apply on the SAFE Bunbury Adoption Enquiry Form on our website. Only applications received on our full form will be considered.

ADOPTION NOTES
Adoption Fee: $650
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.
All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.
After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
