Gruffalo

Meet our guy Gruffalo! Gruffalo has been at the RSPCA and then in foster care for some time as it took him a while to trust people. He was a street kitty and not well socialised when he first came into care! Look at him now though! He has turned into a cuddly needy friend that just couldnt be any sweeter! This affectionate guy loves his pats and attention. Also he sometimes drools when he purrs which is gross or cute depending how you look at it (we think cute!). Also if you are working from home and need someone to walk accross your keyboard on a regular basis (maybe he can disconnect you from an annoying meeting?) he is always happy to help. Gruffalo is a character and in the spirit of being cat will occassionally give you a gentle tap on the legs and feet to remind you whenever you have forgotten to provide snacks and attention (you're welcome; we all need reminders!). When Gruffalo first came into foster care he would slap when he was scared of someone but now that we have his trust he is so gentle! Gruffalo went into a foster home with resident cats and small dogs. He took it in his stride having all these other animals around him. He loves other cats and rubs and cuddles with one of the resident cats. He is not pushy however and is very polite to the other cat that does not want this attention. He is also a very dedicated groomer of one of the resident dogs and they are good friends. The other resident dogs are elderly and don't want to be groomed and he respects that. Gruffalo likes to be able to sleep in the comfiest places in the house (including the bed!). Since coming and living inside Gruffalo is very happy in his safe environment and has shown no interest in being an outdoor cat again. He has been perfect with using his litter tray while in foster, and would be very suitable as an indoor only cat. Gruffalo could live with calm teenagers/older kids but would prefer to live in a peaceful home. He does get underfoot a bit so you need to be a bit sure-footed so he doesn't trip you over! Gruffalo has won our hearts and he can't wait to meet the people whose days he will continue to brighten!
