ABOUT
Gemella came into care pregnant, from a BYB Hoarding situation. She was such a sweetheart at the start, but she got very protective of her kittens for a while. With her kittens all big, Gemella has decided they don’t need protecting anymore and is ready to greet anyone who visits with head bops and cuddles. Gemella even appreciates being scooped up into your arms for a cuddle for a short while. She’s the perfect combination of cuddly but not over the top needy, as though she’s happy to use her voice in greeting when she wants your attention, after she’s had her fill she’s also just as happy to move back and lounge nearby and give you some space for a bit.
Gemella loves her toys, especially when the stick toys come out! Her kittens are only just getting fast enough to beat her to the toy… every now and then.
She can be a little picky with her food, particularly with her wet food, but as long as she has her dry food she’s good at drinking plenty of water.
Gemella, being from a hoarding situation and coming into care with another cat, has previously been great with other cats. She was understandably upset and didn’t want anyone near her babies when they were little, and while she has yet to be properly tested with other cats again, she shows every sign that she will be good with others again. Gemella has shown some curiosity and indifference when she’s seen the resident large dog.
