Wizzy

Hello everyone! My name is Wizzy, I am a beautiful 8months old Kelpie crossed puppy. My foster carer think I may even have a bit of Greyhound in me as I have a similar build and I can run like one. I am a very cute little princess who came into foster care not knowing anything! I am such a people’s pleaser hence why I’ve learnt already so much in less than a month. All I want to do is make you happy even thought I can be a little clumsy sometimes.
I am still learning the boundaries and the rules around living with humans but so far it’s been so great! I can sit, I can fetch the ball, I understand that when it’s no it means no most of the times haha, I am toilet cleaned inside mostly and I don’t bark for no reason for instance. Every day I keep improving! Sometimes thought I still behave like a teenager as I have plenty & plenty of energy and it can be hard to control all that love I want to give you all.

At home I am great and at the park I am even better! I am the friendliest dog! I am such a social girl! I love to be with you and with other dogs! I show no signs of aggressiveness towards anyone. I’ve been working on my recall and it’s getting better I still get distracted at times. I still have to say hello to everyone. I love running around and spend all that energy that I have. I’ve been to the beach a few times and I’m sure with the right training and weather I will love swimming. I am learning to walk on a leash with an Halti lead and have been very responsive. I am a very energetic breed and will need some regular physical activity to stay balanced & not loose my sanity.

I will suit any kind of family that is ready to be committed to an energetic dog. I can be trusted everywhere and around everyone. I however will require further basic training that require time & patience. My foster carer keeps saying that I am an awesome girl and that I only deserve the best! Please come meet me and I promise you’ll fall in love with me. I have also been desexed and I am cat friendly.
