About Ponyboy
Hey everyone, I'm Ponyboy!
If your a fan on S.E Hinton you may recognize me from the novel The Outsiders. If you know the novel well you'll also recognize that there is another cat at BARC named Sodapop.
I am loyal and loving, just like my name sake, and will do anything to you make you happy.
I can be a little bit timid and shy when I first meet you but don't worry, give me 10 seconds and ill zoom out of my hidey-hole to come and meet you!
I am rather afraid of other cats, and don't like to be around them so my new home will need to ensure that I am the only feline family member.
Due to me being a little timid and unsure I would be best in a home with kids over the age of 8 years.
If you would like to come and meet me please call BARC on (03) 5441 2209 to make a booking.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
