Josie

Josie is a very sweet girl who has had quite a rough start to life and we are looking for a special person to give her the loving, stress-free home she needs. When Josie first arrived to the RSPCA she was a very scared, heavily pregnant mum who gave birth very quickly after arriving into our care. She was a wonderful mum and all of her kittens have gone on to find their own forever homes. Josie is a lovely but sensitive soul, she is very in tune with her surroundings and is susceptible to stress-induced UTI's. Stress can be brought on by other cats (Josie isn't a fan of other cats in her space) or feeling overwhelmed by new environments or situations, we are confident that should Josie go to a low-energy household with no other pets - she will settle and her stress UTI's will be a thing of the past.
We have found that providing Josie with access to multiple litter trays has helped greatly with any inappropriate urination that occurred when she first arrived, should you wish to adopt Josie and give her the life she so deserves - we will provide you with a step by step plan to assist easing Josie into her new environment. Josie is a very affectionate and sweet girl who just needs a patient person to let her feel safe and comfortable at her own pace.
