I was surrendered to Lort Smith as my previous carer was not able to provide me with the daily activity, play and mental stimulation that I so desperately need.

I am a super sweet and energetic boy, with lots of love and joy to give to my new family. I love to play with toys and play chase, and its best I have hard toys only, as I have already had to have surgery for eating something I shouldn’t.

I am a highly food motivated boy, and I’m devoted to learning new skills – as long as I get a tasty treat. I would love if my new family could take me to obedience classes, so I can work on my positive exposure to new people and environments and provide me with lots of daily activity, play and mental stimulation. I have lots of energy to burn and need a healthy outlet to exercise and stimulate my brain!

I do have a bit of a funny walk, however this has been investigated extensively by vets and this is not causing me any discomfort. The staff would be happy to go into this further with you.

I’d love to go home to an active family, but I’m best suited to a home with no small children as I can get over excited, and I wouldn’t want to accidently knock anyone over. I could potentially go to a home with another dog, provided they are calm and able to cope with my boisterous personality.
