About Buddy
Buddy came into care from a remote pound with no information, not even a name. Buddy was clearly once loved as he is a very friendly and sociable little man. The vets estimate that he is only one year old.
He is a bright outgoing boy, who is not short for words. Hes a "talker"'as you can see in some of this photos. He's very affectionate and likes pats and belly rubs. He just wants to be loved and included. After just a few days in care he was answering to his new name and comes when he is called.
Buddy uses his litter box like a pro. Whilst in care Buddy has shown to be cat friendly with his carer's cats. Buddy is just a quirky friendly cat that deserves a loving family to call his own.
Buddy is FIV positive so has to be an only cat or can live with another FIV positive cat. FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) can be passed on to other cats through bites-even tiny ones. It does not affect humans in any way. We home all of our cats to be totally inside for the safety of the cats and of course wildlife, but this is essential for FIV positive cats.
Buddy is happy and healthy and will make a wonderful family member.
Buddy has not been tested with dogs or children.

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need Website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. My emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
Please note all our cats are indoor cats only.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
