About Bear
Bear is a sweet natured and slightly timid boy. But has shown lots of growth whilst adjusting to foster care.
He shares his foster home well with another dog and loves meeting dogs out and about. He would easily suit living with a range of different dogs in his new home.
He is searching for a higher energy household being a working breed and would do best with someone experienced with working dogs and their needs.
He hasn’t been tested with pocket pets or small kids but has met cats and shown to be social with them.
He has good leash skills and recall and picks up new skills and training fast.
He is well toilet and crate trained and is happy to learn new things in and out of the house.
His new home should have well secured fencing 6ft and above but he may suit rural fencing for the right home. Daily exercise must be included in his new routine and the allowance to sleep inside especially at night so he can soak up some love.
Bear would do best in a home with another dog if his new owners work full time but he may suit being an only dog if someone was home more often than not.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
