About Aj
Awesome Aj is a gentle lad who will steal your heart with his loveable nature and cuddly personality. Aj will be best suited to a home with someone who is looking for a new family member to include in their daily activities as Aj likes nothing more than spending his days with people, from hanging out not doing much to spending days out exploring and going on adventures. Aj is a smart boy and has had some basic training in the past, we do recommend he attends further training where he can continue to put his intelligent mind to use. Aj will be more than happy to show you his knowledge of sit, shake and drop when he meets you.
Aj will require a secure yard with 6ft fences to ensure he remains safe and secure in his own back yard. Being a working dog breed Aj will highly benefit from twice daily walks to keep him active, as well as providing him with daily enrichment which will help keep his intelligent mind sharp while also prevent him from becoming bored.
Adoption details
Taking on a pet is a long-term commitment. Before adopting it is essential to research what type of animal would best suit your home and lifestyle.
All animals waiting for a new home can be found on the shelter website, or by visiting the shelter in person. All animals available for adoption are ready to be adopted straight away.

In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Campaspe Animal Shelter is making some operational changes, in place from Friday, 27 March.
Our team of staff and volunteers will continue to care for all animals at the shelter. Access to our services will now be by appointment only:
- Adoptions
Monday to Friday we will have two sessions a day available
10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm
Saturday and Sunday
10am – 12pm
- All other services such as, surrenders, stray animals, reclaims and microchipping
o Monday to Thursday 10am – 6pm
o Friday 10am – 4.45pm
o Saturday 9am – 1pm
o Sunday and public holidays 10am – 12.30pm
