About Mason
Mason is a happy 6mth old cattle dog. He is small to medium for breed.
Mason has grown up with cats and other dogs. Mason came into care due to being protective of his owner. In care he has not shown that trait and he is working on his lead skills in public settings.
He is currently in foster care with 10 other dogs and is coping well in the pack after being a bit scared at first of the giant dogs. He now enjoys a rumble with the wolfhound cross girl or the kelpies. He will wade into the dam, is not game to go for a swim as yet.
Mason could be an only dog if you were home more often than not or live with another friendly dog.
Mason takes a little while to adjust to new situations, and we would recommend no children under 5 as he may try to herd them.
He will need 5 foot or higher fencing to keep him safe. Rural fencing may suit for the right situation. He would not suit apartment living.
Medical notes
Young healthy boy.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
