Florian and Gigi

Meet Florian and Gigi,

Gigi and Florian are beautiful long haired sister and brother looking for their forever home! Their beautiful fluffy coats make them look bigger than they are, but they are still young at only 18 weeks old.

Florian the beautiful black and white tuxedo boy is the braver of the two, he loves to explore as soon as a new door is open in the house. He has really warmed up to pats since being in care, and loves to sit on your lap. If you stop patting Florian, he will tap your hand or stare you dead in the eye until you start again! He likes to move around the house to sit near you when he’s not sleeping.

Gigi the stunning dilute calico is still warming up, but is starting to slowly accept love. In just a week she went from bolting at the sight of her foster parents, to sitting right next to them on the couch. With some forced affection, she is getting used to pats, and is now much more comfortable with humans. Watching Florian receive lots of love and affection is definitely helping her learn to trust.

As they came from a hoarding situation, both Gigi and Florian still have a way to go to be completely comfortable with humans, but with a couple more weeks in care, they will be well on their way to perfect companions. They will need humans comfortable with giving them some time to settle in and build a bond. Florian and Gigi both love toys, in particular they have become excellent soccer plays up and down the hallway. They also enjoy having a nice big cat tree with lots of places to lie and hang out. At this stage, they are both a little too skittish to be sent to a home with dogs, but would certainly be fine with another older cat.
